Traction Motor Sound DCC/dWiDCC
Our Sound Traction Digital Command Control / direct Wireless Digital Command Control is designed for the Railflyer traction motor based drive. It will synchronise and power up to six traction motors.
The layout of the system places two Truck PCB cards above each truck. They contain pads for the traction motors the LED lighting. The SMD 402 LED lighting has been programmed with circuits set up to supply the correct voltage for the LED's and associated light effect for:
- Headlights / Extra Headlights
- Class/Marker Lights (white, red, green, or tri-colour)
- Number-boards
- Cab/Safety Lights (walkway & ground lights)
- Ditch Lights (alternating option included)
- Strobe
- Mars
- Gyra
Inside the hood, there are two additional cards. One is a Processor PCB and the other a Power Distribution PCB.
Digital motor control is offered with motion sensor input to give a dynamic throttle response. When used with the tablet system, it can give a scale mile per hour readout and position reporting. Also included is a complete battery management system and fuel gauge for a Li-PO battery.
The system can run from our ZigBee Tablet system for "wireless DCC" or on track based signals.
The sound system contains an Audio Codec with surround sound and equalization. Sound files are stored in a 4 Gb NAND flash IC.
